This is a trilogy of three games in one single product. It is a mix of FPS with RPG elements under a strong science fiction storyline with extensive conversations and high quality animations. Note that these games are not really RPGs neither open-world games. Nevertheless the three games possess a very nice playability with several main and side missions to accomplish. Mass Effect 2 and 3 are somewhat better in visuals animations functionality and show improvements on the playability too if compared to the first game. Mass Effect 3 in particular also makes less clear what the main and side missions are and shows the least information during the game making the experience feel much more non-linear.
